Hiring is Very Similar to Traveling

Hiring is very similar to traveling. We must have a destination, a plan, and a course to follow in finding and selecting quality candidates. Think about your last vacation. Without directions and a plan, your travels could have been much different. Lack of planning makes traveling expensive and wastes time. When we talk about major events like extended travel, it becomes clear that without some sort of itinerary, there will be wrong turns, numerous stops, major delays, and other unnecessary hurdles that can have a real negative impact on the trip. The same lack of appropriate planning may have the same poor results when it comes to our hiring decisions.
